I first discovered games development through scratch at 10 years old. I joined a "coding club" in primary school, making silly games and "learning" some core programming concepts. Once I entered secondary school, I switched my focus to Art, which continued through GCSE's up until my A-Levels, when I got my first computer. For my A-Levels I decided to take Computer Science (A*), Art (A) and Business (B). Since a core part of my Computer Science A-Level involved creating an artifact, I decided to develop a platformer game in Python. During this process I rediscovered my love for games, eventually downloading Unity at the age of 16.
Since discovering Unity, I have been able to bring my ideas to life in ways I never thought possible. I had always played games with my friends, and as my skills developed, I began to actually understand how the games I loved actually worked. This motivated me to pursue a career in game development, as well as create content on youtube, where I share my development journey and showcase my projects. I hope one day I will inspire future developers to start their own journeys in game development, like many other creators have inspired me.
